Making of..! Malmö is an international multidisciplinary and participatory art event that aims to strengthen professional networking and give insight in contemporary art production. What happens when artists work in the same space, for one week, interacting with each other and with the audience?Seven international artists from different fields will transform Galleri Rostrum into an experimental laboratory where all participating artists will build the exhibition from scratch and create collectively, side by side, for one intense week between the 4th and the 10th of August. During that period the gallery will be open for the public with the idea that anyone can influence, contribute and witness the process for several hours each day. The ongoing artistic collaborations will be fully process-based, improvised, spontaneous and community-oriented as there is a strong urge to work together between different disciplines in processes of exchange.
Making of..! Malmö is the third edition, the two previous projects were successfully implemented in Joensuu/Finland (2021) and Vilnius/Lithuania (2022).
